Inami

The sixth seishi to appear, and the oldest it seems, from when the group travels to Konan to the happy land of Suzaku, Taruma or more commonly known as Inami [ 牛 ], is the temporary boss of a prostitute house. Not much is known about her past yet, or as much as the others per say, but we do get some insight on her character. As for her powers, she attacks using her hair as a weapon.

Apparently, the brothel used to be located in Hokkan but when it was discovered that she was the Genbu seishi Inami, and to hide from the assassins sent to kill all the seishi, they moved their business to Konan for safety. However, for reasons that we don't know the original owner became cursed and Inami took over in her place. Hence as it was when Takiko and Uruki are sold into her custody.

While confronting Takiko and revealing her identity, the boss' curse suddenly became worse and the rest of the seishi decide to see what they can do to help. Takiko and Inami end up having to fight the old owner, who becomes consumed, but Inami is greatly saddened by the loss of the woman. After that, Inami is still hesitant to join the rest of the seishi and follow Takiko because of her responsibilities back at the brothel, but in the end with the approval of the other prostitutes, she gives in and decides to go with them.
